Friends of Marcellin Performing Arts

Friends of Marcellin Performing Arts (FOMPA) is a group run by committed volunteers from the Marcellin community. Its mission is to support and promote the college's music, visual, and performing arts programs.

FOMPA provides support to staff and students by running social and fundraising events throughout the year. These include suppers, raffles, decorations, ticket sales, and student breakfasts, among many others.

All proceeds channel directly into the college programs. In the past, FOMPA has purchased promotional banners for the drama program, music stand banners, instrument covers, and a washing machine and dryer for the new theatre studies facility.

Most importantly, FOMPA is dedicated to encouraging and fostering young talent.

Annual School Music Concert

This annual concert is the school's biggest attended  event in the College Calendar. Our Music staff do a wonderful job to present such a high quality and varied night for all to enjoy.
The audience will be treated to some amazing music.  This is the night to see and hear the talent of our boys playing musical instruments, or singing in the choirs from our new Year 7 boys all the way up t those in Year 11 and 12 who have studied music for their VCE.

FOMPA and other volunteers organise a magnificent supper for interval (with delicious treats supplied by our very generous parent community) which is always welcome and a great chance for a chat before enjoying the second half of the concert.

There will also be a major raffle on the night which raises funds for purchasing much needed items for the Music and Arts Departments.

The concert is free, but you will need to book tickets.  The night is generally a 'sell out', so get in early and come and experience Marcellin's talent.
